The History Club is comprised of the following Committees:
Building Committee
The Building Committee is responsible for providing direction and support for the general maintenance and preservation of the building. Other responsibilities include building rental, preservation, decorating, and grant writing. If you would enjoy working on the clubhouse, request information at [email protected].
Education Connection
The Education Connection fosters literacy and education in our community by creating and volunteering at a book club at a local youth center.
Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for developing, coordinating, and promoting fundraising activities of The History Club.
Membership and Public Relations Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting and retaining members. It develops the promotional materials of the club and keeps members advised of activities and opportunities for involvement. The Membership Committee updates the website, Member Directory, and the Google email account.
Social/Program Committee
The Social/Tea Society/Program Committee coordinates speakers for monthly meetings and arranges for hostesses at each meeting. This committee also works with the Membership Committee to plan and promote teas and social events for our members and guests to enjoy.

Book Club
Book Club welcomes all members to participate. Meeting about every 6 weeks at 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday evening at a local restaurant, we enjoy a meal or drink and discuss the current novel. Yoga
Yoga classes are offered at the clubhouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes are held outside at McKennan Park during the summer months.
