Other Involvement Opportunities

Other opportunities for involvement in The History Club include:

Book Club

Book Club welcomes all members to participate. Meeting about every 6 weeks at 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday evening at a local restaurant, we enjoy a meal or drink and discuss the current novel. A book is selected as the next read following our discussion. If you would like more information about the Book Club, email us at [email protected].

GFWC Alliance

The GFWC Alliance is a group of History Club members who continue to pay dues to and be involved with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, a national organization of women’s clubs located all over the United States. The History Club formerly was a chapter of GFWC.

Yoga classes are offered at the clubhouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes are held outside at McKennan Park during the summer months.
